Fire Mitigation Services in Prescott, AZ
We offer four kinds of wildfire fuels work around Prescott: defensible space, forest thinning, brush and slash removal, and hazard tree removal. Most properties need a mix, so a free on-site estimate starts with the land, not a package.

Which service does your property need?
The right work depends on what's growing, how steep the lot is and how close the fuel sits to your walls. A half-acre lot in Prescott Valley with juniper against the fence is a very different job from three forested acres in Groom Creek, even if both owners call it "clearing."
So we start by walking the property with the home ignition zone in mind. The first 5 feet come first because that's where embers do their damage. From there we work out to 30 feet, then on to the property line. On a slope the distances stretch, especially uphill from the home, where fire tends to build heat.
A simple way to sort it out: if the concern is close to the house, start with defensible space. If the trees are crowded and touching, you're looking at thinning. If the problem is thick shrubs and piles of cut limbs, it's brush and slash removal. If a tree is dead, dying or leaning toward something you care about, that's hazard tree work. The written scope breaks out each one, so you can phase the work if the budget calls for it.
If a fire department report or an insurer's letter already lists what to fix, send it along. We'll price that list, and tell you if anything is missing.
